The 3 Rs- Reduce Reuse Recycle

Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. These three little words make a big difference for our environment. How people handle waste is currently a very big problem on Earth. Think of the three Rs, and what can you do to save the environment? Here's some ideas to begin with:
1)Buy the concentrated laundry and dish detergents in smaller bottles rather than the watered down big bottles.
2)Use washable cups, forks and spoons instead of disposable ones.
3)Buy rechargeable items and rechargeable batteries that allow you to reuse items repeatedly without contributing to waste.
4)Repair broken items instead of trashing them and buying something new. If you no longer want an item, give it to someone who can use it.
5)Make new items from recycled materials instead of throwing them into the trash.
Now, let's continue with your ideas...

Community Garden - Flower Arrangement / Collaboration with Brownies

The members prepared flower arrangement for the promotion ceremony for teachers promoted on 14th April. They were also led by members who were involved in the last year's flower arrangement interschool competition.

We collaborated with our school's Brownies in the Community Garden Project. We had a fun day collecting the recycled bottles, washed and cut them into flower pots. The brownies helped us to colour the pots. The coloured pots will be used for the letterings on the fences of our Community Garden.
